Paralegal Specialist Certificate

Description

Paralegal majors acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to become competent professionals working within the legal system.  The program provides theoretical, practical, and technical applications of legal skills. At the culmination of the Paralegal Program, students will have a well-rounded understanding of what the role of a paralegal is and how the role of the paralegal is implemented and utilized in the legal systems.

Additional Requirements for Paralegal Specialist

To be admitted into the Paralegal Certification Program, you must have earned at least an Associate’s level degree in any field from an accredited college or university by the time of admission to this program. Students should possess strong communication and computer/word processing skills, Student must receive a grade of C or better in each course to graduate from the program. Additionally, job opportunities within the Paralegal field are limited for those students who have backgrounds which involve willful violations of the law, violent conflicts with others, psychological programs, or additional issues.
