Description
In addition to writing CNC programs, students will learn CAD design and analysis applications, create precision set-ups, select tooling, and operate a variety of CNC milling and turning centers.
Program Outcomes
Upon completion, students will be able to:
- Design jigs and fixtures
- Operate manual metal-working equipment
- Program CAD/CAM software
- Operate CNC metal-working equipment
- Program CNC metal-working equipment
- Conduct heat-treating process
