The Practical Nursing program prepares students for employment as beginning-level staff nurses under the direction of a registered nurse or physician. Employment opportunities are available in a variety of settings, including acute care hospitals, long-term care facilities, physicians’ offices and clinics, local public health departments, and home health agencies.

The course of study begins in the Fall Semester at the Easley Campus with day classes and Spring Semester on the Oconee Campus at the Hamilton Career Center with evening classes.
